Richard Ericsson named Chair of ABA Environmental Section Brownfields Committee

Our partner Richard Ericsson has been appointed Chair of the Environmental Transactions and Brownfields Committee within the American Bar Association’s Section of Environment, Energy and Resources ("SEER").

The Committee, one of the largest and most active within SEER , focuses on the environmental aspects of an array of business and real estates transactions, as well as brownfield redevelopment. Recently, the Committee was active in commenting on the draft of EPA’s recently concluded “negotiated rulemaking” on its new All Appropriate Inquiry rule.

Richard has been actively involved in SEER, particularly on the Committee. Previously, he was Vice Chair of the Committee (most recently in charge of membership), and has been a frequent lecturer at SEER's annual meetings. He attended the ABA’s Section Leadership Meeting in Washington D.C. in May 2006.
