K. Hovnanian Companies Presents Farer Fersko with 2006 Brownfield Redevelopment Outstanding Achievement Award

K. Hovnanian Companies presented Farer Fersko with a special Brownfield Redevelopment Outstanding Achievement Award at the annual Trade Partners Dinner held by the K. Hovnanian Northeast Region on March 22, 2006. Our partners David Farer and Jay Jaffe accepted the award on behalf of the firm.

K. Hovnanian, one of the nation's largest homebuilders, has been in the vanguard of builders who are investing in cleanup and redevelopment of sites that have been abandoned, idle or underutilized due to existence or suspicion of historical environmental contamination.

Farer Fersko has worked closely with K. Hovnanian on a number of brownfield projects, including the first residential redevelopment of a former municipal landfill in the New York metropolitan area.
