John Reilly Speaks at Farer Fersko Breakfast Seminar, and at ICREW Special Event, on “Eminent Domain after Kelo”

John Reilly, chair of our Litigation & Condemnation practice group, has presented two recent programs on the U.S. Supreme Court decision in Kelo v. New London, and that case's impact on condemnation and eminent domain matters in New Jersey.

The first of the seminars was presented at a special educational event sponsored by Industrial Commercial Real Estate Women in September 2005, and the second at a Farer Fersko breakfast seminar on June 1, 2006.

At the seminars, John addressed issues including public use and just compensation requirements, condemnation for redevelopment purposes, valuation of contaminated properties and condemnation proceedings.
