David Farer to Present Live ALI-ABA Telephone Seminar & Audio Webcast

David Farer is scheduled to present a live telephone seminar and audio webcast entitled “Allocating Environmental Risk in Transactions: Case Law and Drafting Tips” on January 24, 2008. The program, offered by the American Law Institute – American Bar Association , will explore the unique issues faced by transactional lawyers when drafting clauses to protect clients from future environmental liability claims.

The faculty will present an analysis of the latest case law on the contractual allocation of environmental liability under the federal Superfund law. Specific contract clauses will be reviewed in detail to provide practical examples for drafting agreements.
