Farer Fersko Honored as “Organization of the Year” for 2006 by Industrial/Commercial Real Estate Women of New Jersey (ICREW)

On January 11, 2007, Industrial/Commercial Real Estate Women of New Jersey (ICREW), the Garden State chapter of the 6,500 member national CREW Network, presented Farer Fersko with its “Organization of The Year” Award for 2006.

According to ICREW 2007 President Carolyn Sica, Farer Fersko was honored for the firm’s longstanding generous commitment to the ICREW organization, both as a Penthouse level financial sponsor and through the enthusiastic participation of our firm’s three ICREW members – Director Ann M. Waeger, who is Immediate Past President of ICREW; Partner Susan C. Karp, who currently serves on the programming committee; and Maura Blau, Counsel in the firm, who serves on both the membership and golf committees.

As the preeminent nationwide organization for women in the commercial and industrial real estate arena – brokers, property managers, developers, attorneys and others – the national CREW Network and its local chapters are dedicated to enhancing the professional development of an ever-increasing membership from both educational and networking perspectives. The organization is also committed to an admirable array of philanthropic endeavors through its support of various national and regional charitable causes.

David B. Farer, who accepted the award on behalf of the firm, said that “Farer Fersko is delighted to lend support to ICREW, and we congratulate them on their impressive achievements. We are proud of our firm’s commitment to this organization, and of Ann’s outstanding contributions and leadership as President of this valuable resource for the women’s commercial real estate community here in New Jersey. The firm looks forward to many more years of support and growth with the ICREW organization.”
