NJICLE to Present Reprise of Site Remediation/LSRP Seminar

On March 11, 2010, our partner David Farer will chair a special follow-up program to his May 2009 NJICLE seminar on New Jersey’s Site Remediation Reform Act and its new Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) program. Concurrent with the seminar, NJICLE will publish a 2010 update of David’s ISRA Compliance Manual.

For this spring’s program, David will once again be joined by Assistant DEP Commissioner Irene Kropp. The seminar will open with their analysis of the mechanics of the new legislation and DEP's rollout of the LSRP program.

Following this overview, two special panels will discuss and debate the new procedures and processes, how they have changed the business of investigations and cleanups, and the resulting impacts on transactions and brownfield redevelopment in New Jersey.

On the attorney panel, our partner Jay Jaffe, who lectured at last year’s course and played a key role in the development of the latest ISRA Compliance Manual, will be joined by Rich Conway, Colleen Donavan and Sean Monaghan.

The consultant panel will be comprised of four LSRPs – Jorge Berkowitz, Lawra Dodge, Ken Goldstein and Dick Katz – all of whom are members of the new LSRP Association here in New Jersey.
