Farer Fersko is an equal opportunity employer.
ASSOCIATE TRAINING AND MENTORING
We place a premium on investing time in the development of our associates' legal and professional skills, as they are our firm's future. We assign each new attorney to a partner who provides mentoring and guidance. Associates also have the opportunity to work closely with a number of partners within their practice group and the firm, and receive direct feedback and supervision. Scheduled evaluations, including self-evaluations, are conducted periodically.
The practice groups hold regular group meetings to discuss cases and latest developments in the field. To promote communication among the practice groups, all attorneys attend a monthly breakfast meeting where information and ideas are shared.
We support our associates’ professional development by providing attendance at continuing legal education programs and in-house seminars.
LEGAL ASSISTANT TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
Farer Fersko is committed to providing ongoing training and educational programs that will help our legal assistants develop professionally and better assist our attorneys in providing excellent legal services to our clients. They work closely with the attorneys and partners and receive close supervision and regular feedback.
Our legal assistants attend monthly breakfast meetings with our attorneys and are included in meetings of their practice groups. They are an integral part of both our professional and support staff.
Farer Fersko requires candidates to possess a Bachelors degree or Certification from an ABA-approved paralegal program. Candidates must also have excellent written and verbal communications skills.
